Report: Town 0-2 Rangers

Ipswich Town slipped to their first defeat of pre-season following a 2-0 defeat against Scottish Premiership Champions Rangers.

Peter Lovenkrands and Nacho Novo each got a goal apiece in the second half to give the Glasgow side the win earlier tonight.

 

Novo, who was brought on as a substitute at half time and made his mark on the game after just 9 minutes, his cross was met by Danish striker Peter Lovenkrands who headed home.

 

Rangers wrapped up the win with two minutes left on the clock when Charlie Adam set up Novo whose powerful effort went underneath Lewis Price into the back of the net.
