Ipswich Town new boy Nicky Forster is hoping to help Town reach the premiership and get his career moving again.

The 31-year-old striker joined from Reading on a free transfer has got his Town career off to a good start having scored in both of Blues' opening pre-season games against Cambridge and Boston.

Forster: “I had a couple of stale seasons at Reading but have got renewed hunger now, Ipswich have given me that and hopefully the Club can reap the rewards from that as well.

“I'm really enjoying myself here. The players have made me feel so welcome and I can't thank them enough.

“I've had a few chances and scored a few goals and that's helped me settle in so it's going well.

“I'm totally focussed on what I want to do here at Ipswich and hopefully I can play my part in helping this Club reach the Premiership.”
