Town Trial Two

Ipswich Town have taken two defenders on trial as Joe Royle continues his search for new defender before the new season.

Rui Marques and Edwin Ouon will be with Town for the next three days following their release from Club Maritimo and Antwerp respectively.

 

Marque is 27, has played in the Bundesliga with Stuttgart, making 34 League appearances as before joining Club Maritimo in Portugal last summer and plays in central defence.

 

French defender Ouon, 24 played for Royal Antwerp in Belgium were he spent the last three years of his career.

 

Town boss Joe Royle: “The two lads will be with us over the next three days and will train with the first-team.

 

“They have been recommended to us and we will have a look at them. They are both available on a Bosman.”
