Parkin Link Confirmed

Ipswich Town have confirmed they have made contact with Swindon town about the availability of their striker Sam Parkin.

The 24-year-old striker has scored 72 goals in three years at the robins since joining from Chelsea, 23 of which came last season as Swindon finished 12th in league one and with Town only having one striker with real first team experience at the club its understandable that joe would like to sign another striker.

 

Town manager Joe Royle has said: “We are interested in Sam and have been talking to Swindon about his availability, as with all of these things, there is no telling how it will play out, but there is an interest.”
