Davis Leaving Today?

Reports on the internet are suggesting that Ipswich Town goalkeeper Kelvin Davis will sign for Sunderland today after completing a medical.

The 28-year-old goalkeeper has been subject to a “seven figure” bid from newly promoted Sunderland and after two weeks of talks between Town, Sunderland and the players agent the move is expected to go though this afternoon.

 

Some of the transfer fee Town receive some will go to Davis’ former club MK Dons the rest will go to Joe Royle to build his squad for next season.
