Ipswich Town manager Joe Royle believes that one or two of Town’s players switched off after Town went 2-0 up against Watford earlier today.

Ipswich Town manager Joe Royle believes that one or two of Town’s players switched off after Town went 2-0 up against Watford.

Royle: “One or two of our players switched off and our usual frailties at set-pieces came back to haunt us again, their first goal was a run of the mill corner and free header and they got the run of the ball for the second.

“Lewis will be disappointed with that goal. It was a personal blip for him but we are not blaming him for that. He's done great for us over the last few weeks.

“We should have won the game anyway. We dominated possession and had the chances, even after they scored, to have taken the points.

“Darren Bent should have had a penalty in the first-half and we are still scoring goals. We just need that clean sheet again.”.
