Ipswich Town have given a trial to Charlie Sheringham, the sixteen year old son of West Ham united striker Teddy Sheringham.

Ipswich Town have given a trial to Charlie Sheringham, the sixteen year old son of West Ham united striker Teddy Sheringham.

Charlie who was released Tottenham earlier this year has been on trial at Millwall, where his father once played his trade and is one of there all time leading goal scorers and AFC Bournemouth where of cause Ipswich acquired Matt Holland from.

Charlie has played once for the Ipswich under 18 team, coming off the bench in Saturdays 1-0 win over the Arsenal youngsters while his father watched from the side lines, during his spell at Bournemouth Charlie scored the winning spot kick for them against Newport County in the Youth Alliance Cup.
