Joe: No Major Changes

Ipswich Town manager Joe Royle has ruled out any major changes from the side that lost at Stoke to the one that will face West Ham.

Royle was disappointed to lose against Stoke on Tuesday night but he wants to try and stick with the same 11 players that sent town top of the table.

Royle has said: “I'm still upset, and that was the second time we have lost 3-2 after being 2-1 up.

“But, at the same time, we are not too far away. We are still the leading goal-scorers in the division so there is no need to panic.

“I'm still disappointed that we lost but not with the group of players, they had taken us to the top, but it was generally a bad night for certain individuals.

“There is no need for wholesale changes and I won't be changing the side drastically” and added : “We are vigilant to the possibility of bringing in a loan player but there is nothing imminent.”.

Drissa Diallo was who largely at fault for two if not three of the goals could be replace by Matt Richards in the team with Fabian Wilnis going back to right back and Richards at left back or possibly giving Couñago a start in place Shefki Kuqi.
