Ipswich Town manager Joe Royle believes his town side should be top of the football league championship not in third spot.
Joe Royle tipped Wigan as one of his favourites to win promotion this year and they currently lead the way ahead of Stoke City on goal difference and town by just one point, and Joe is a bit disappointed with it.
Royle has said that: “I am the eternal optimist and am disappointed we are
not top, it's only the two poor away performances at Nottingham Forest and Derby
that have cost us that position.
“One of the positives though has been
our form at Portman Road with four wins out of four.
“That has been a
real plus point for us because last season our home performances and results
weren't good enough and cost us dear.”.
