Jonathan Barnett, the agent of Ipswich Town striker Darren Bent has said that the 20 year old front man is ready to play in the premier league.

Jonathan Barnett, the agent of Ipswich Town striker Darren Bent has said that the 20 year old front man is ready to play in the premier league.

Barnett who was the agent behind the moves of Matt Holland and Darren Ambrose to new clubs in recent seasons said that: “Darren is ready to play in the Premiership and that could happen this time round but it depends if Charlton make an improved offer for him before Tuesday.”.

Now then of course the town faithful would hate to see Darren leave us, but going to Charlton would be even worse as his arrival at the Valley could mean Jonatan Johansson would be going up the A12, but not stopping in Ipswich he’d be going along onto the A140 to Norwich.
