Ipswich Town captain Jim Magilton is one step closer to a first team start after completing sixty minutes against Brentford last night.
The 34 year old midfielder has missed every game this season after tearing a muscle in his thigh in a pre-season friendly, but he not yet complained of any ill effects after last nights run out at Portman road.
Jim has said that: “There was no pain after the game and I'm confident it's
okay now.
“I'll need some more rehab but the thigh felt good during the game and I'm
well down the road to recovery now.
“Fitness wise I felt okay but I need
to get a lot more training under my belt.”.
