Ipswich Town manager Joe Royle is allowing striker Pablo Couñago to leave Portman Road on a free transfer.
The 24 year old front man scored 12 times last season despite missing nearly three months of the campaign only 7 down on his total of 19 the year the before.
Pablo is now the highest earner at Ipswich after the summer departures of Marcus Bent and Martijn Reuser and his departure could possibly pave the way for up to three new signings.
Joe Royle has said that: “I've sat down and talked about things with Pablo and decided to make him available on a free transfer,”.
When Pablo leaves he will possibly be entitled to a loyalty bonus as he did not request the transfer.
