Ipswich town assistant manager Willie Donachie has praised town’s new signings, Jason De Vos and Kevin Horlock and he believes their experience will boot Town’s promotion hopes.

Ipswich town assistant manager Willie Donachie has praised town’s new signings, Jason De Vos and Kevin Horlock and he believes their experience will boot Town’s promotion hopes.

Willie has worked with Kevin Horlock while they were both at Manchester City and has been Impressed by De Vos in the short time he has been at Portman road.

Willie has said that: “Jason has already made a big difference with the way he commands the defence and the younger players are benefiting from having him around, both players are good professionals and have provided experience that we needed.

"They are very reliable and dependable and although they might not be fashionable words, they are invaluable to the team.

“Everyone is capable of beating each other in this division but the teams that show the greater consistency will be the ones that come through in the end and I'm confident that with the good young players allied to the experience we now have here, we can do well this season.”.
