Ipswich Town defender Drissa Diallo has promised they is still more to come from him in the 2004/2005 season.

After missing a large chunk of last season and a complete lack of form on his return double D has promised better this season.

Diallo has said that: “When you join a new club the fans are waiting to see something from you. They don't know you and I didn't want the Ipswich supporters to judge me on how I played last season.

“Now I feel I am really settling in. I have played football for a long time and I have the experience to cope with playing wherever the manager feels it will benefit the team.

“I have been enjoying it at right-back - I have played there in four friendlies and a league game - but it won't be a problem if I have to switch to central defence at any time.”.
