Premiership side Aston Villa have become the latest club to show an interest in Ipswich town striker Dean Bowditch.

Premiership side Aston Villa have become the latest club to show an interest in Ipswich town striker Dean Bowditch.

A number of top clubs in England and Scotland have reportedly shown interest in the 18 year old who opened his account for this season with the winner against Gillingham on Saturday.

When asked about the interest in Dean, Joe Royle simply replied “That would be telling.”.

Dean has also been watched by Arsenal and Liverpool in the 18 months he’s been in the first team, and in the past Dean has turned down Manchester United.

Although Joe Royle would rather off load Pablo Couñago or Shefki Kuqi if any realistic bids for the youngster came in he would have to listen to them.
