Bent: My Future Is At PR

Ipswich Town striker Darren Bent wants to play in the premier league and he wants to get there with Ipswich Town.

The 20 year old front man has been linked with a move to Newcastle united in recent seasons would rather stay at Ipswich.

Darren has said that: “I see my future at Portman Road for the foreseeable future - and hopefully beyond. Like every footballer I am ambitious and want to play at the highest possible level, the Premiership is where I want to be - and I am sure I can achieve this with Ipswich. I feel in tip-top condition and am confident I can score my share of goals to lift us to promotion.

“For the last two seasons we were playing catch-up after poor starts, this time we must make it pay from the first whistle.

“We went into the Gillingham game after a run of four friendly wins after a rather lacklustre time in Denmark. We may have lost players since last season, but with the addition of Jason De Vos and Kevin Horlock I feel we are just as strong as last season.”.
