Reports are suggesting that Hull City midfielder Jimmy Bullard is going to be at Portman Road today ahead of confirming a loan move to Town.
Hull appear keen to offload the 32-year-old and his reported £45,000-a-week wages as they adjust to life in The Championship.
If Bullard does join Town he will be reunited with Paul Jewell, who signed Bullard for his Wigan Athletic side in 2003.
Elsewhere Luton Town midfielder and reported Town target, Andy Drury says he thinks he has played his last game for e Hatters this week, saying: "I think so, but you never know in football."
"I'm not too sure which club, but we'll see what the rest of the week brings. I've loved my time here at Luton, it's been a great six months for me.
"I'm looking forward to it, a bit gutted I'm not finishing the job with Luton but it's something I can't turn down, so I'm looking forward to it now."
