Hull City midfielder Jimmy Bullard is being linked with a move to Town after suffering an injury plagued time at The KC Stadium.

The 32-year-old joined Hull in January 2009 but because of injury has played just 23-times for the Tigers.

Bullard started his professional career at Gravesend and Northfleet (now Ebbsfleet) before moving onto West Ham, Peterborough before being signed by current Town manager Paul Jewell for Wigan Athletic, after helping Wigan to the Premier League Bullard joined Fulham for £2.5 million and then Hull for £5 million.

Town manager Paul Jewell has admitted Town have made bids for two players but would not say who, simply saying: "I don't want to say numbers of players but we have made a bid for two players.

"We are always looking at players and if we feel someone can strengthen the squad then we will look to do something."

Bullard came close to joining Celtic in the summer but the move fell though due to the players wage demands.
