Town take on Nigel Adkins’ Scunthorpe side at Portman Road tomorrow, in a game that could go a long way to making either side safe from relegation. Town are missing Grant Leadbitter, who is serving the second game of his suspension.

Town manager Roy Keane: "Cardiff are a good side. They have goals in them but we played well against them on Tuesday and we need a similar display against Scunthorpe, in many ways I expect Saturday to be the more difficult game. Scunthorpe are scrapping for their lives and have shown this season that they have a good togetherness and spirit in their squad.

"They caused us problems at their place a few weeks back and I was happy to come away with a point in the end.

"Nigel Adkins has done a great job there and it will a very difficult game for us but we are at home and we've got to look to follow on from Tuesday's performance and result."

The Iron will be without the suspended Ben May and Michael O'Connor, while Ian Morris is out injured.

Scunthorpe manager Nigel Adkins: "From what I saw of Ipswich in midweek I still wouldn't rule out a push for them to get in the play-offs, strange as that may seem, they've got the armoury to achieve that.

"What are they doing down the bottom of the league? I don't know.

"You'll have to ask Roy Keane that. They were outstanding the other night.

"They play a very high tempo, very direct way of football and are a massive threat at set-plays with the players they've got.

"They've got a good crowd down there, the stadium is lovely, the pitch is lovely. It's going to be one hell of a game.

"We were disappointed we didn't get all three points at home last month because we were in the lead.

"On another day a decision might have gone our way and we might have got three points.

"You could see on that night that Ipswich are a very direct team. But they have also got some very good players who can play."

Hopefully Mr Keane will stick with MY team (Sm151). If he does, it could be a very good day. 6-0 I reckon!
