Town coach Byran Klug says Jim Magilton and the rest of the coaching staff will need time to get the new signings gelling before Town start to climb the table. Klug: "I think we're trying to integrate a lot of new players into the team and it does take time, Wolves are the best team we've played this year by a long chalk and they've had the basis for that team for a couple of years.

"We're really putting together a second team and it's going to take time and people have got to understand that.

"It's a rotten time to have the break really because the one thing you want to do is get back out on the field and put it right, we've lost some of our players who we want to do work with so it makes it a little bit difficult but the players that are here have worked hard and responded well to what went on at the weekend.

"We would have liked to have had another game pretty quick. When we get our players back next week that's when we really can start planning for the next game."

i bet mr evans doe'snt see it that way after the letter that went out with the season tickets, my cousin told me it said this season was going to be the season of us going up

klug supposed to be one of the best qaulified coaches in the country along with jim need a kick up the backside. is'nt that what pre season is for. why leave signing a defender and a striker till the last minute. if the above is the intention of mr ? evans then i'm all for it . but for jim to lead us to the glory land of the prem i think towns next signing should be a mentor for jim/klug someone in the lines of goerge graham even bring back joe royle just to sit above jim and offer guidance when things hit the fan.steady the helm and the team will follow. an old dog can teach a new dog a few tricks.thats what i say
