Thatcher Moved Confirmed

Town have confirmed the signing of former Charlton Athletic defender Ben Thatcher on a two year deal, not the one year deal reported earlier. The 32-year-old defender had a trial with Town during pre-season and impressed Town manager Jim Magilton enough to be offered a deal which he signed today after completing a medical.

West Ham and Wolves also gave Thatcher trials to the Welsh international who started his career at Millwall before moving onto Wimbledon, Spurs Leicester City, and Manchester City before joining Charlton in 2007.
