Webster Keen On Return

Former Town goalkeeping coach Malcolm Webster says he would be interested in the chance of returning to Town as the goalkeeping coach. The 57-year-old left Town soon after George Burley took over at Derby County and has since coached under Burley at Hearts and Southampton. He is believed to be one of the front runners for the coaching role at Town which was vacated by Andy Rhodes earlier in the month.

Webster: "I would be very interested, I have had a chat with Saints chairman Rupert Lowe and he knows the score.

"He is aware that if an offer did come from Ipswich it would be something I would like to consider. If it did come we would have to see how things progressed."
