Reports in today's tabloid newspapers suggest that Man Utd defender Danny Simpson will be allowed to leave the Premiership champions in the summer. Despite Simpson having a contract that takes him up the summer of 2010 its been reported he will be allowed to leave United in the summer with a number of clubs, including Town, Sunderland, Wigan and Birmingham all supposedly keen on signing the right back who is often compared to Gary Neville.
Simpson was told by Sir Alex Ferguson that he has a future at Old Trafford and he would be heading out on tour with the club during the summer, so why the sudden change is anyones guess.
