Jim Denies Rumours

Town manager Jim Magilton has denied rumours that have linked Town with moves for Darren Ambrose and Richard Chaplow again. Jim: "There will be a lot of speculation linking us with all sorts and both those mentioned again are very good players.

"I'm sure our supporters will be delighted Darren Ambrose has been linked. He is a player I have always admired. I played with him and know what a good player he was. He has had his ups and down and probably needs a stable environment.

"It is the same with Chaplow at West Brom.

"Both are very good young players who would make a difference to us but we have not made any moves for them - it is just speculation."
