Town manager Jim Magilton has ruled out a move for Polish defender Marcin Adamski but Slovakian defender Jozef Adamik is staying on trial a little bit longer. Adamski, 32, played for Town's reserve side in their 3-0 win against Norwich last night but it has been decided against bringing him to Portman Road.
Town manager Jim Magilton: "The lad did okay and it was important for us to see him in a game but we will not be taking our interest any further,"
Slovakian U21 defender Jozef Adamik is currently on trial with the club and will be for a little while longer and he may be joined by French striker Steve Marlet who may have another trial with Town although he is currently in Spain with another club, Town manager Jim Magilton: "Steve is in Spain at the moment. He had a pre-arranged date with another club, he is a good player, obviously. His pedigree is not in question and his fitness improved as we went through the week.
"He was a bit rusty when he arrived but the sharpness was returning and if the situation arises, it's possible we could take another look at him. That would mean seeing him in a game though and not just in training."
