Town manager Jim Magilton is wanting Town striker Alan Lee to keep performing at the high levels he has during the first three games of the season. Lee has scored four goals in Town's three matches so far this season and gone to the top of the Actim rating index and Town manager Jim Magilton wants him to stay there.

Magilton: "I have to be pleased with how Alan has begun the campaign and hope he can keep it going.

"But I want more from him.

"If you ask him he will agree that there is room for improvement in his general play and this is what I will be looking for.

"I hope he has found his home in Ipswich now after the negotiations we had in the summer to keep him here.

"He has said himself that he loves being in this part of the world and with this club and we want him to settle down and enjoy his football and continue to score goals.

"His partnership with Pablo Counago and Jon Walters has gone well from pre-season into the competitive games and Alan's experience can be a great help in the dressing room."
