Wilnis Expecting To Sign

Town defender Fabian Wilnis is expecting to sign a 12-month contract extension with Town sometime this week.

The 36-year-old defender captained Town against Norwich on Sunday and he now expects to follow that up by signing a contract extension in the next few days.

 

Wilnis: “We spoke during last week with my agent and we hope to finalise all the details this week but hopefully it will all be completed and I will be a Blues player for another 12-months.

 

“It was a very proud moment for me. I have been at this club for such a long time and I know what it means to the Ipswich supporters to play against Norwich, so to skipper the side was very emotional for me.”
