STB brings you team news, manager previews, betting odds and officials ahead of Towns game against Barnsley tomorrow (KO 3:00pm).
Town will be without Dan Harding who is serving the second game of his two match ban. Jason De Vos, Gary Roberts, Gavin Williams, Billy Clarke and Jon Walters are all carrying knocks but should be fit to play. Francis Jeffers is expected to appear as a second half substitute after recovering from a hamstring tear.
Town Squad: Bruce, Clarke, De Vos, Garvan, Haynes, Jeffers, Lee, Miller, O'Callaghan, Peters, Price, Rhodes, Richards, Roberts, Sito, Supple, Walters, Williams, Wilnis, Wright.
Town manager Jim Magilton: “There will be an edge to the game. Sometimes players can switch off, but my players will know they can't afford to do that because Barnsley are in a fight for their lives and have a real desire to win the game.
“Unless we match them in that desire we could be in trouble. For 45 minutes against Plymouth we were the better side, but then they took the game to us and we let our standards slip.
“Our lads need to go out and show our supporters they are desperate to play for Ipswich Town and do better than they have done. If they produce performances that we know they can, then we can do really well at this level.”
Barnsley will be without midfielder Martin Devaney for the trip to Ipswich Town as he is suspended. David Lucas misses out after being knocked out against Derby last weekend.
Barnsley manager Simon Davey: no pre-match thoughts currently available.
