STB brings you team news, manager previews, betting odds and officials ahead of Towns game against Leicester City tomorrow (KO 3:00pm).

Town are without suspended duo Alan Lee and Gary Roberts. Owen Garvan has been ruled out with a knee injury and Gavin Williams has a pelvic problem while Fabian Wilnis is a doubt with a foot injury.

 

Town midfielder George O’Callaghan could make his first start for Town while Luis Sito could make a rare start and Jon Walters looks set to start up front with either Danny Haynes or Billy Clarke alongside him.

 

Town manager Jim Magilton: “We dominated possession for large parts of the game at Palace but I didn't feel we were brave enough on the ball, especially in the second-half, the game was there for the taking but we didn't show the necessary desire and quality on occasions to take advantage and that was very disappointing.

 

“There was a lack of belief in the second-half that we could get back in the game and the players have been made aware that I won't accept that so I am certainly looking for a reaction from the team against Leicester.

 

“It's a big game for both clubs. Leicester are too close to the bottom for comfort and we need to climb the table as well.

 

“We have both had similar seasons in many ways. Inconsistency with results and certainly our 3-1 defeat at the Walkers Stadium at the start of the season was one of the low points for us.

 

“We were very poor on that afternoon and it rounded off a pretty miserable first week in League management for me.

 

“Hopefully we can wipe out the memory of that game and last week's defeat at Palace with a good performance and victory against Leicester.”

 

Town Squad: Bruce, Casement, Clarke, Currie, Harding, Haynes, Legwinski, Naylor, O'Callaghan, Peters, Price, Richards, Sito, Supple, Walters, Wilnis, Wright.

 

Leicester are without Paddy McCarthy and Danny Tiatto while Stephen Hughes and Matty Fryatt are both doubts.

 

Leicester boss Rob Kelly: “It's time that we turned our record at Portman Road around - that is simply the tact that we have to take.

 

“I think that record has got a lot to do with Ipswich as well. They are the type of team that like to attack at home.

 

“It is a difficult place to go and there is always a good atmosphere there - the crowd get right behind them.

 

“Ipswich will play football and they will be a threat. They play with no fear. But we are aware of that and we will counter that. We will work and look at things that we can do to harm them.”
