Town are reportedly keen on signing Brighton striker Alex Revell in the January transfer window.
The 23-year-old striker started his career at Cambridge United before moving on to non-league Braintree Town in the summer of 2004, in his first season for the Essex side he netted 14 times and followed that up with 21 more goals the next year.
He moved to Brighton in the summer and has so far scored 8 goals in league and cup for the Seagulls.
Town also recently gave a trial to Woodbridge Town striker Joe Francis, 20-year-old played in the 1-0 reserves friendly defeat at Watford.
