Town slipped to the foot of the championship following a 3-1 defeat against Leicester City earlier today.

Both teams started the day on 0 points but after just 8 minutes it looked like Leicester would be ending the day with point on the board when Danny Tiatto’s free kick was headed in by Patrick Kisnorbo.

 

The home side doubled their lead after 50 minutes when Stephen Hughes was there to fire in a poor Dean Bowditch header which landed at Hughes feet.

 

Matt Richards gave Town hope with minutes to play when he fired in from 25 yards but the hope was extinguished in the final minute when Ian Hume scored Leicester’s 3^rd.
