Town’s pre-season tour of Holland and Belgium ended with a third 1-1 draw in three games.

Town went behind after just two minutes of the game after Charlie van der Ouwelanb but the scores were level again just two minutes later when Richard Naylor headed in a Jaime Peters free kick.

Nicky Forster and Danny Haynes both went forced the home ‘keeper into a couple of good saves while Shane Supple was keeping the ball out of the Town net.

Ian Westlake had an effort cleared off the line just before half time.

Lewis Price, Darren Currie and Billy Clarke came on for Supple, Westlake and Haynes at the start of the second half.

Town proved to be a much better side in the second half, just lacking that little bit of luck that could have won them the game, Peter’s just missed getting on the end of Knight’s cross, Wilnis headed over and Billy Clarke had a goal ruled out in the 84th minute.

Town line-up: Supple (Price 46), Casement, Naylor, Wilnis, Barron, Peters, Skard (Kolsi 60), Westlake (Currie 46), Haynes (Clarke 46), Parkin (De Vos 77), Forster (Knights 57).
