Leeds United games will be shown on Sky Sports channels three times before the end of August this season, with games against Burnley, Sheffield Wednesday and Derby County to be streamed live to the nation.

This of course has meant that changes to dates and times of the matches have occurred, with the opening day fixture at home home to Burnley moving to 12.30pm for television purposes.

Leeds' West Yorksire derby against Sheffield Wednesday will also take place at 12.30pm, partly due to Sky's interest but also (we assume) for policing purposes. Leeds' trip to Pride Park to face Derby County will also be a lunchtime kick off but at the slightly earlier time of 12.05pm. 

All three fixtures will take place on the Saturday that they were originally scheduled for, meaning fans shouldn't be too troubled by the rearrangements. 

The Mighty Whites' domination of the Football League's Sky quota for August will no doubt please the fans, who get to claim bragging rights over Forest, Middlesborough and Hull, who all only appear once in the season's primary month. Even before the Premier League schedule is announced, we can be sure that Leeds will appear live on TV more times than many of the top flight clubs, demonstrating once again how financially lucrative Leeds matches must be for Sky.
