Owen out, Spurs star should have gone after all

I said it straight away, I said it several times in the pub, and I think I even mentioned it once during casual sex, but Eriksson should have taken Defoe. Owen had not proved his fitness, and was a gamble, same can be said of Rooney, Crouch is so one-dimensional and frankly so skeleton looking he gives the bairn’s nightmares.

So what is Mr Burns look-alike left with, a child, and a freak. It does not bode well. Still all things considered I am not that fussed about England; they made their bed let them lie in it. I am fussed however about my beloved Toon.

I hope Freddy has the cheque book at the ready, because frankly the thought of Shola leading the attack alone next season is enough to keep me awake at nights.
