FAO: Everybody: We Know NOTHING About The Process

By Fans Submission
April 26 2006

Right then, this is addressed to the pro-Roeder, anti-Roeder, pro-MON, anti-MON, pro-Hitzfeld, anti-Hitzfeld, pro-Houllier, anti-Houllier and any other permutation of fans/non-fans of any of the managers named since Souness got the bullet.

WE KNOW FUCKING NOTHING ABOUT THE SELECTION PROCESS.

WE KNOW NOWT ABOUT WHO HAS PUT THEMSELVES FORWARD AND WHO HAS NOT.

EVERY PAPER HAS PRINTED THAT WE'VE BEEN LINKED WITH ABOUT 20 PLUS MANAGERS JUST SO THEY CAN TURN AROUND WITH AN "EXCLUSIVE - WE TOLD YOU SO" WHEN WE DO APPOINT A MANAGER.

WE DON'T KNOW THE FULL EXTENT OF ROEDER'S REQUIREMENTS FOR LICENCES.

And despite all of this, the speculation continues. And it's only going to get worse when the glue sniffing, hood wearing IQ draining school kids who don't go to school anyway are "officially" on their holidays.

The Ronny Gill has printed a front page story yesterday and like the content or not, there's 2 ways to look at it.

1. It's spot on.
2. Oliver has dropped a right bollock and the Ronny are going to look like fools.

Think about the relationship that the Ronny has with the club before answering that one.

With respect to discussing managers, lets try and do this with some form of dignity and not by stating "he's shit", he's a "rodent" or any other wank wristed pathetic play on their names.

We all agree that after a period under Souness where we have massively underachieved (injuries put aside for the purposes of this comment) and that our next managerial appointment must be "better" than Souness.

Surely we can all agree that in a caretaker capacity, Roeder has gotten players who looked downbeat and uninterested to play with positivity and focus. The results and our associated climb up the league have reflected this.

We're sitting in 7th in the league and have a great opportunity to finish the season positively and as fans we've got something to look forward to. Not entirely sure we ever had that under Souness.

If we aren't careful, we're going to look as fickle as certain other fans and thats certainly not the case (he hopes).

At the end of the day, we are all Toon fans and no matter who is appointed manager, we'll get behind them for the benefit of the club. To do anything else would be un-Geordie. Remember folks, passion for the club, not for one man.

PS - And if anyone suggests George Graham they want their fucking heads kicked in!
