Post-match comments from caretaker boss Glenn Roeder as his side failed to kill off Charlton Athletic on Wednesday evening. The game ended in a 0-0 draw.
Glenn Roeder: "It was frustrating for me, frustrating for the players and frustrating for the fans.
"Alan Curbishley is a very clever manager, I think he came up here and set his stall out for a point.
"We thought he might have done that as he has done it before against some of the top teams and got good results.
"Shola is very unhappy with himself in the dressing room because he had probably the best chance of the game with a header.
"He was unmarked inside the six yard box, and he put the ball over the bar instead of under the bar. That could have been the difference between a point, and taking all three.
"Charlton came at us in the last 15 minutes or so, and that was probably their plan all the long to try and catch us.
"They had a couple of opportunities, but we defended well."
