Fans Comment: Enough is Enough...

It seems that the majority of the so-called loyalist fans in the land have succumbed to the brainwashing of the very biased Evening Chronicle - namely John Gibson and Alan Oliver... Their comments, especially of late, coming from a local paper, have left me seething, each time I've picked up the Chronicle.

It seems commonsense to me that since the fans have never, totally, got behind the team, and Graeme Souness since he took over, that this is a major, contributing factor to the lack of performance of the team.

If the players know that the manager doesn't have the support of the fans, it can't help but have a damaging effect. All this without mentioning the horrendous injury problem we're having.

Nor do I blame Graeme Souness for not wanting to have anything to do with the Evening Chronicle, and my major wish would be a change of personnel in the Chronicle's sports section, and not at Newcastle United.

Toon fans, we have a manager who is passionate, honest, and committed, it's about time we all got behind him.
