Yesterday saw Newcastle and Middlesbrough take part in the 107th Tyne-Tees league derby. The game finished 2-2, with Lee Clark salvaging a point in the 93rd-minute - but Toon boss Graeme Souness feels his side lost 2 points. Ironicly, Boro boss Steve McClaren feels exactly the same about his side! GRAEME SOUNESS: "We've lost two points today.
"I felt we bossed the game for the vast majority of it. Middlesbrough settled for playing counter-attacking football and we had nearly all the possession.
"We had the better chances and yet we found ourselves 2-1 down with three minutes to go and felt we'd been mugged.
"But credit to the players because they kept going right to the end. When they score their (second) goal you start to feel sorry for yourself, but arguably the best player on the pitch, Lee Clark, got our equaliser so it's great for him."

STEVE MCCLAREN: "This was two points thrown away.
"I thought we deservedly led 2-1 on the performance and to lose two points like that it's a cruel game.
"I thought we showed fantastic character to play like that. It was gritty but we played great football at times. Even at 1-0 down at half-time we'd had chances."
