Summer signing Emre pleased to get his first goal for United, and says he wants more.
After scoring against non-league outfit Yeading, Emre spoke to the clubs official site.
He said, "I'm happy, but I'm still not totally ready. I've only played 2 games, but I think when I get another couple of games I will be fit."
"I felt my performance was OK, and my goal was not bad. Last year in Italy I only got one goal, I know I need to get more goals. On Wednesday I hit the post so it was nice to get a goal."
"I want to score goals, but I am also happy to set up my team mates. As long as we win, it doesn't matter who scores."
Emre was not the only player to get his first goal for the club today, as defender Craig Moore netted on his first appearance for United.
Moore said "I don't score many, so I'll take that one."
"Towards the end of the game it was a typical pre-season run out, but it was nice that we finished with a flurry of goals because that will help the team confidence wise knowing that you can be scoring goals regularly."
