Fulham Reject Boa Morte Bid

Fulham have just conformed that they have turned down the offer for midfielder Luis Boa Morte. Just this morning, Freddy Shepherd confirmed two bids for Anelka and Boa Morte respectivly. A statement on Fulham's official website reads:

Fulham Football Club can confirm that an official bid for Portugal international midfielder Luis Boa Morte has been received from Newcastle United FC.

The bid has been rejected.

Speaking to Sky Sports, Graeme Souness said:

"I think he would compliment players we have here already.

"He's a naturally left sided player and he typifies what a modern wide player is all about.

"He works both forward and backward for the team."
