Laurent Robert has once again spoken to the press, this time giving his views on the Jermaine Jenas situation. The player has been linked with a move away from St James' Park, altough the club insisted the 22-year-old would not be leaving. After criticising former boss Graeme Souness, French midfielder Robert was been fined two-weeks wages, but has sparked up even more controversy today by claiming that Jenas WILL quit.

Speaking to THE SUN, Robert said: "He's at a turning point in his career and I think he'll leave.

"I have seen Jermaine Jenas growing up at Newcastle and he is a brilliant player who could become the new Patrick Vieira.

"But I know just how badly he took to being put on the bench last season."
