Graeme Souness has recieved a fine and a suspended two-match touchline ban for bringing Newcastle's defeaet to Everton on May 7th, into disrepute following comments made about referee Barry Knight.
Souness rejected the claims, but a statement on the FA's website now reads:
"At a independent disciplinary commission hearing on Tuesday, Newcastle United manager Graeme Souness was fined £20,000 and received a two-match touchline ban, suspended for 12 months.
"All or part of this suspension will be activated if he is found guilty of a similar charge."
