UEFA Cup Team News - Harper, Jenas

Having already lost Kieron Dyer (flu) and Nicky Butt (ankle), Jermaine Jenas is now also struggling to be fit for tonight's match. Jenas only managed 15 minutes of last nights pre-match training session. Assistant manager Alan Murray said: "He's on the mend and we are very hopeful that he will be fit to play.

"He picked up a viral infection along with Kieron Dyer when he was away with the England squad.

"It has affected Kieron a little bit more than JJ, but we are very hopeful. JJ is a really good player for us and we would like to have everybody available."

It is also understood that Steve Harper has been sent home with chicken pox, and reserve goalkeeper Tony Caig is flying out as cover for Shay Given.
