Savage: Bellamy ‘Too Honest’

Blackburn midfielder Robbie Savage has said Craig Bellamy has suffered for being too honest.

Bellamy’s welsh team-mate believes that both of them have felt the wrath of being too honest in today’s modern game.

 

Savage said:

 

“Like me, Craig is an honest lad, he sticks up for himself and he says what he thinks which, nowadays, as I have discovered to my cost, gets you into trouble."

"Newspaper speculation is that Blackburn might be interested in bringing Craig to Ewood Park and I would be delighted if that were to come about.”

"No matter what people say about him, he is a world-class player who would grace any team in The Premiership and everyone in the game knows what he is capable of when he is fit and in top form."
