Graeme Souness has pulled out of his personal hearing set due to his outburst against Fulham back in early November.

Souness said

"I have called it off,

I pleaded guilty when the charge was put to me and I asked for a personal hearing, but now I've decided against it."

Although he pleaded guilty for releasing his anger after Howard Webb refused what seemed to be a penalty after a foul on Alan Shearer by Papa Bouba Diop.

So instead of looking towards a hearing on Friday he can now focus on the game in hand.

“We have been playing well in games of late but not getting the points – we need to change that.

Portsmouth will be a tough test for us, but Im confident we can win the game. We need the points and we need to get back in the routine of winning matches.”
