Bellamy - Why I Hate Sundays

Due to Newcastle United's involvement in the UEFA cup, they have to participate in games on Thursday evenings - meaning that thier Premiership game that week have to be moved to the Sunday - something which Bellamy dislikes!

Bellamy explained:

''I hate Sunday games.

''You wake up on a Saturday morning and it's game-time, you're geared up for 3pm kick-offs.

''But instead, we're sitting in a hotel somewhere watching the other results come in.

''You then have to gear yourself up for the Sunday and it makes it a long weekend.

''We've got to sort this out by getting into the Champions League and getting our games back to Tuesday or Wednesday, then every Saturday.''
