Bernard Wants To Stay

French wing-back Olivier Bernard speaks on his future at Newcastle United. He is still waiting on new contract talks, but insists he wants to stay at the club.

He said:

"We had the UEFA Cup last week, then the Premiership, now it is the Carling Cup, and at the weekend it is back to the Premiership.

"My attitude is to give 100% whatever the competition, and that will be the case if I play against Norwich.

"But that is up to the gaffer - he has to pick the team. I'm sure whatever team he sends out will be capable of winning because we want to win this trophy.

"We train together as a squad and we all know we are going to get a chance, so it's not as if a changed side won't know each other."
