Former Chelsea manager Claudio Ranieri, gives his views on Robert Huth and the incident which involved him kicking Alan Shearer while he lay on the ground.

Ranieri, speaking for the first time about the incident, said:

"I was furious when I saw Huth kick Shearer on the ground.

"I said to Peter Kenyon 'If I should still be here next year, a player like that I can do without'.

"I had given him trust and plenty of chances but I did not like the way he had got above himself.

"That blunder was frankly unforgiveable."
