Newcastle United Chairman Freddy Shepherd has announced that there is money available for Sir Bobby Robson to make additions to his squad

"Money is available, but it has got to be spent wisely."

Robson has been linked with buying several players over the last few weeks but the most likely at the moment seems to be Eqyptian Striker Mido.

"We have never withdrawn funds from a manager when he needs them. We have spent more money than the likes of Arsenal in the last four seasons”

However despite spending all this money the results have not always gone to plan.

Newcastle fans had started to wonder whether money actually was available this season after being linked with so many players.
