Bellamy Likely To Make Mallorca Clash

Bellamy, who was forced to pull out of Newcastle's third-round victory over Valerenga last week due to a hamstring injury, enjoyed a thorough work-out with Sir Bobby Robson's first-team squad on Tuesday.

The Welsh international does't just believe that he will be fit for the visit from Mallorca, but also that he is overall fitter than he ever was prior to his latest knee surgery earlier this season.

"I feel stronger now than I was before my knee operation," said Bellamy.

"I just didn't want to come back without being fully fit, and my patience is paying off."
